Beth + Ryan = Engaged

Steve Nichols has been a friend of mine for years.  I had the pleasure of filming his wedding video for him back in March of 2006 and meeting his brother Ryan in the process.  He reminds me so much of Steve I’ve had to stop myself from calling him that several times lately.
Beth & Ryan are the kind of couple I would pay to work with – so much fun, hilarious, love to laugh and so in love.  We met a few weeks back to talk over their September wedding which I’m so excited to shoot photos & video for.  I think we hung out for an hour and a half and could’ve gone longer.

Then came their engagement session -

The morning was dreary, cloudy and rainy.
I had a new place in mind I wanted to shoot with them and saw it in my mind, but the weather wasn’t cooperating. We were also supposed to shoot some at a baseball field (which is still to come!), but we decided to see what happened and bring some umbrellas incase.
Just before our session, the sky opened up in a beautiful way –  Here’s a few of their shots -

Whitney & Adam e-session

My good friends Whitney & Adam spent the afternoon with me doing some engagement pics - 
I was so glad to get to do them, especially since I get to go along for their destination wedding in a couple weeks doing both photography and video for them – I can’t wait!  Whitney is the sister of Courtney (Cook) Edwards – Courtney & Matt let me go along with them to Oahu last summer to film and shoot pics of their wedding at Turtle Bay.  I love working with this family and the awesome daughters that Randy & Kim have raised – it’s so awesome to see them getting married! Travis & Lisa e-session

This past weekend Travis, Lisa and I had a blast taking engagement pics downtown – with the KC Marathon running right by us, we had a 3 hour “run” of our own going all over the crossroads district -
